Fabuland

Fabuland was a popular LEGO theme in the 1980’s for young builders. After 10 years of production, The LEGO Group cancelled the Fabuland line in 1989. So, what happened to these hard-working little characters….

No longer welcome on store shelves, the Fabuland characters found refuge where they could. Lionel Lion, the mayor of Fabuland, led his community to an abandoned truck in a farmer’s field. At first times were hard, and far from fabulous. The community had to work long and hard to transform their new home into glorious Funfair!! From then on things were fabulous again. Come and join the fun at the new Fabuland carnival!
